My school is almost 14 miles away from my house, and I plan on riding to and from there. I have been looking at road bikes and hybrid bikes, but Im not sure what I should get. Im not sure what size to get. Im 6'3-6'5, it varies.

Depending on the type of terrain you have to travel on, all road, some gravel maybe a lot of going up and down kerbs. your best bet would probably be a hybrid giant, or a claud butler XTC. these can be found relatively cheaply secondhand and are good quality and comfortable. don't be tempted to buy a new cheap bike, they are notorious for poor quality parts and poor ride comfort. also if you take on to a shop to get it fixed, many of the parts simply aren't replaceable. another possibility if you want a bike for good general use as well, is a Specialized hardrock Sport, the sport means it has slightly thinner tyres and lockable suspension so it's better for the road but can go off road as well when needed. it also had no trouble in an urban environment, i.e. kerbs, pavement drops. it's a specialized so it's top quality. I ride one myself to and from school (8 miles total) and it's a brilliant ride. new they are about £350 but i picked mine up secondhand for £120. Hope this helps. Vote best answer please :) x
