Is a very challenging course 26 mi on some of the hardest climbs in the area. the rist canyon "ride de rist" fort collins, co. it is an ACA sanctioned event and they do have multiple groups including a citizens ride. among the other cat's are sm35+ sm45+ sm3...? are these what they call cat 3?,4? and is sm pro cat 1and 2? what race should i enter? i consider myself to be in descent shape i have not done the whole thing yet but i have done parts on my steel frame 12 spd which some might consider an accomplishment. do i do the citizens race or a dif cat do i need "points" to do anything other than the citizens ride?
