Im looking into a used 2000 toyota corolla is it a good deal?

I am looking for a car to hold me over for a year or two till my credit builds enough to get financed and i came across a 2000 corrola ce It has 120k and the body is not in that great of codition, couple dents, and a pretty bad rust by one of the rear tires. It seemed to drive ok and sounded good but the Tires, Brakes, and possibly the exhaust need to be replaced. Asking price is $1,500, seems decent to me what do you all think? thanks
 
Tires: $320
Brakes: $600-$1200 depending upon what needs replacing
Exhaust: $600 depending upon what needs replacing.

You may have other repairs that need to be accomplished to make it road worthy and/or to pass emissions if needed in your area.

Is the car worth $3600?.
