The first was about a chinese family (the teen girl was the narrator) that moves to america and ends up living in a old school. They are running a dry cleaning business and it talks about the racism they face and how the mother couldn't cook and a neighbor shows her how to bake pies or something....I believe the title has something to do with star catcher or something like that
