...mysterious people...? It was released around 2006 (?), and I believe that it turns out this man is "the one", and has all the same powers as the people who are chasing him, but he is also stronger than them - he just doesn't know it yet, and these people (or "creatures") are able to follow him everywhere. I think they wanted to kill him because he was the only one who could defeat them.
I believe it is also supposedly "in his nature" to kill the girl he is smitten with. That's really all I remember, except that at the end choice prevails, and he doesn't kill her. Any ideas?
