im looking for the author that wrote these stories i remember?

my teahcer use to read us these books about farms and cowboys and the west and stuff and i loved them and now i want to read them again but i cant remember the name of the books or the authors name

i remember one book was about a little boy about 10 that went to a family member's( i think aunt and uncle) farm and there was a man that made clothes out of mouse fur and the younger kids went to a party with the family and watched a movie with cokes.

and another book was about a one armed cowboy that takes a teenager from a native american tribe and they hunt for beaver pelts

if anyone knows or thinks they know the author or title of either of these books i would appreciate any help you can give me
