Im looking for the author of a book called "Kara."?

I want to know the author. Its a story abaout a girl named Kara who lives in claremont with her mother and father, her father dies in a car crash and in depression Karas mother accidently sets the house on fire. Kara's aunt Catherine takes her whom she finds out she is really her mother.

Ive been googleing it and absolutly cant get anything.
Please help if you can.
