OMG, my Dad, as far as I know, never ate a vegetable in his life until
he was being served by someone else in a retirement home. He drank
like a fish and had the worst eating habits of any human I've ever
witnessed.

He lived until he was in his mid-80's and then died as a result of
Prostate Cancer, because he refused to have any testing done earlier
that could have found and cured it. Without the cancer, I think he
would have seen 100.

Each of us has our own reactions to everything. Some can get away with
nothing and some, like my Dad, can abuse themselves and still live
long.

I think stress has a lot to do with it. Since my Dad was mostly drunk
every waking and most sleeping moments, he had very little stress. He
laughed and had a blast unless someone really got in his face.

I try to keep my life as stress free as possible. I have a very
secluded life and stay to myself about 95% of the time. I've
eliminated most of the things that cause me stress and I'm mostly
always happy. I have my moments when something will anger me, but
they're seldom.

I look forward to your review of the trials in your new adventure!

The only thing that comes to mind is that I wonder if all the other
components of the wood smoke, like formaldehyde, propionaldehyde,
acetaldehyde, isobutyraldehyde, phenol and cresols might be of
sufficient quantities to cause taste or health problems if the smoking
is done in the manner you intend.

I know practically nothing about the subject, and I mention those
thoughts only as a possible interest to you.

Good luck in your effort and I'll enjoy reading of your attempts!
