I'm hoping to find a couple Japanese restaurants somewhere between Detroit and Chicago. A really good Teppanyaki style, and also possibly one more along the lines of Izakaya. I love dishes like katsu-don, oyako-don, yakisoba, and gyoza but I haven't found any as good as what I use to get in Japan. I live in northern west Michigan so I'm looking for something within 400 miles or so.
