The story was something like this, really want the exact quote/details though. A black man was sitting on a (bus? train? not sure) facing the window. A women sat down next to him and started telling him how worthless he was and all the things her son is doing to serve the country. When she asked him what he did for the country he turned and showing her his amputated stub of an arm said something like "i lost my arm for your son"
