If you do not mind OD green or camoflage. The military A.L.I.C.E. packs. There are 3 sizes: small, medium, large. There may be aftermarket companies that make clones to military specs that have other colors available. The small military surplus ones can be hard to find. Large ones are plentiful. You can also strap the packs to its own aluminum frame if it is heavy. If you get a large definitely get a frame. I bought 2 mediums with frames before Christmas on Ebay for under $40 including shipping. Some places are higher and if they are unissued you will most likely pay more. Make sure you are getting all the straps and the kidney pack (if frame is with it).
