I will be hiking in Brazil's Chapada Diamantina which has a combination of wet rocks and dry terrain. I have no idea which hiking shoe to get, or if I can just wear regular running shoes?
you should get coloumbia sportswear. i got mine for $50, they are extremely comfortable, and waterproof. i think they are prett light too. however, your feet might get too hot since the boots that i have are primarily used for winter and you are hiking in the rainforest.
