The truck is in great condition besides the minor damage to the tailgate. It books regular at 11k and the dealership is asking 8500. I can play the jew down roll by saying this is going to cost me 800 to fix. Any other suggestions as to what I should say? They also have the same year next to it, same price and both around 57k mile. Doesn't make sense to as way they are priced the same.

Check the motors compression on each motor. You could be buying a new rebuild and it is being sold as is. Also get the vin numbers and check each one with car fax. Then barter the price after you have checked the low book.
