We're both 22. been together 5 months. i had joined the air force prior to meeting my bf. he already knew b/c i told him from the start. well during this time, i was waiting on my leave date for bootcamp and i finally got it a few days ago. feb 15th. told my bf this, and he's kinda taking this really hard. he still wants to be together and so do i, so we both realize that it will be a long distance relationship. he's stressing out b/c we only have a few more weeks left together. i probably won't see him for a couple of months. how do i make him feel more comfortable with all this? he's worried about me finding another guy while im there, infidelity, visits, etc. how do i make this work? what are some things that we need to discuss when it comes to long distance relationships? i talked to him on the phone tonite and he seemed down. he's very supportive in my decision and i really appreciate that, but i hate seeing him like this. how can i reassure him that everything will work out?
