I'm joining the gym...... god help me?

Can anyone help me make a programme of sorts? I am trying to loose fat but gain muscle, if that makes sense. I am 16 stone right now I want to weight 13 stone but I don't mind if I was 15 stone but muscular. What would be the best route for me to take?

If it helps I am male, 6 ft 2 and 16 ish stone.
