abuse history is that legal? lawyers for my old work requested me to ans if I have had or have currently mental or substance abouse problems or diagnosis' to use against me. This does not pertain to my case at hand. I prefer not to supply them with this info. Is this a legal request or is my medical and mental history protected under the laws of personal health information under the HIPAA laws?
