Im I getting a good deal $3,000 for a honda civic sedan 2001 ?

A honda Civic Sedan 2001 don't know the model it has 4 Door
well he was selling for 3,500 and i asked him what was the lowest he would go he said 3,000 I offers 2,800 and he said no the least was 3000, in really the most I have is 2,900
So What Do You Think?
