its hot and humid in miami. and im worried about taking my dslr from the cool hotel room to the hot humid streets of miami...ive heard i should use desiccants, but will it be effective in a backpack. (moisture will seep thru the zippers and once the desiccant is moist...its ineffective). can i get away without using desiccants how do i let my camera warm up slow enough not to develop condensation...

the best way to let it warm up slowly, is leave it in the bag for 10 minutes or so {zipped up} bfore getting it out and starting to shoot... the bags insulation helps it warm up slowly.
