I just recently bought the car about 4 months, until this point it hasn't given me any problems, until about 2 weeks ago. when i turn on my car after not driving for a while it'll turn on no problem, the car won't over heat or anything if I drive it for a long period of time, but if i turn it off, say to get some gas, and then i try turning it on the car won't turn on, it makes this wierd noise as if its about to turn over but it just doesn't quite get there. if I leave it off for 45 min. to an hour. It seems to start up pretty easily, sometimes it takes 2 to 3 try's but it turns on. I took it to the mechanic and he wasn't so sure, so much for that. The mechanic said that I may have a faulty STARTER, and something about my carburator flooding up.
Is it my starter, even though my starter works when the car hasn't been used, alternator maybe, or is it over heating. Can someone help me out with this???????
