I'm having a hard time driving my 1998 Ford Ranger?

I'm a new driver, and I've been trying to improve on driving my Ford Ranger my parents bought me. It's a stick shift and I stall... a lot. I've been driving it for 6 months now and I still stall more than necessary, only in first gear though. I don't know what I can do to be able to drive it smoothly. Any suggestions?
 
A stick shift takes LOTS of practice. Find an empty parking lot and practice getting the feel of the clutch. That is figure out just where it lets the truck move forward. You'll get it.
