At the field I work at you only have to be 10 due to insurance reasons and if your under 18 you must have a parent or legal guardian (your coach) in order to play
For as long as i have been playing you shouldn't have to wear more than a sweat shirt if you want and some sweat pants
Do not wear anything to constrictive it will restrict your movement.
The first few times your shot you may feel a sharp sting but it will only last for about 10 seconds then probably welt or bruise and then you will be used to the pain
If you really want wear a nut cup, sweat shirt, sweat pants, some good cleats or ankle supportive shoes and a beanie or baseball cap for your head
other than that you should be fine just remember to bring extra clothes in case you don't mind the pain and don't want to wear a sweat shirt and sweat pants
