I'm in grade 12 and wanting to go into medicine. what do you guys suggest? should I go somewhere local? what should my grade average be? how should I deal with everything in terms of med school? etc...I need that overview. After medicine, I want to specialize in surgery. How long will that take? And I've heard that instead of applying to the university itself, you can directly apply to med school? This way it saves time so instead of after finishing your "BSC" and other sciences needed, and then applying to med school you can just apply right into med school and that way your set. How can I do that? I was thinking of the University of BC or other Canadian universites. What yall think? Gimme some suggestions please!
