My older brothers will be at home too (one will be 24 and the other 21 - shocking that they STILL live there, I know) but they aren't the most helpful around the house even at their age.
I don't claim to be the perfect son, but am I concerned that it will have a detrimental effect on her. By this I don't mean that she'll be devastated to see me go (like I said, I'm not the perfect son), but I was the only one who actually gave a helping hand with the little things around the house so it may make life more stressful for her.
She isn't ill or disabled, but my mum has never been strong minded in my eyes and I fear that by me leaving something will happen.
