im going to a residential summer camp. what's a good way to make friends?

i dont have much experience in going to a summer camp where i have to live there for 10 days. im 15; and what's a good way to make lots of friends and get along with my roommate, and get people to like me?

note: i am very outgoing with my friends. but i can be shy/quiet when i dont know anyone.

also. we're doing this icebreaker activity. can you share an interesting, funny fact about yourself? i can't think of any atm lol

But I would just say Hi my name is (blank) What's your name .
If you can't think of anything special about you just remind yourself who you are.
A good friendship always involves honesty.
