I'm getting the $500 model and I'm going to be happy with it

THe only difference between the 2 models is:

Wifi: I don't need it because I already have a CAT5 going to my TV, and wired is obviously faster then wifi.
Memory Card Reader: I have no use for that at all. If I want to transfer stuff to my PS3, I have a USB memory stick and ipod
HDD: Since you can upgrade the HDD yourself, I'll just put in the spare 80GB laptop HDD I got lying around.

Anyone else agree with me?

You have the right idea, however, it's human nature to want the best. So the 60 GB version will be my choice.

The more I think of it, I agree. 20gb version sounds good enough. Wifi is garbage.

Nothing wrong with the 20GB model...I think it's overlooked...it's not like the 360's Core 'retard pack.

I sorta need the Wi-Fi but if I didn't the 20GB is a great choice.

doesnt the 60GB come with dual HDMI or did they take that off? Basically you pay an extra $100 for 40GB's and wifi? Ill stick with 20GB and use CAT5 and upgrade a bigger HD when the chance comes. Is it just an SATA drive?
