sister are using the web? Ok, so next Monday, not like tommorow, but the Monday after tommorow i will be getting Telus high speed Dsl. I will be getting the 1-6 mbps connection. I am really excited because i have wanted high speed for such a long time because i play lots of xbox live, and i couldnt before. So, my next door neighbour just got Telus high speed dsl, they got the 1-6 mbps one. And my next door neighbour did a speedtest on the internet he got. He had a 6 mbps download speed, around 0.90 upload speed, and a 23ms ping. When he said that, i was like wow!!!!! He lives right beside me so i sould be getting the same numbers. Though, the thing that has not been able to get out of my mind is, i am worries about when my brother or sister are using the internet, and im on xbox live. When my brother is on the internet he will be playing online computer games, or xbox live, or if hes not doing that he will just be on the web, like Facebook. Remember, my brother is using a wired connection, he uses the ethernet port in the wall in his room. Now my sister, she doesn't play any online games, all she does is watch youtube videos, and go on Facebook, she also uses a wired connection, shes wired DIRECTLY into the router. What im afraid of is, if my brother is playing online computer games, or xbox live, like mw2, and my sister is on youtube and Facebook, will i still have a 3-4 bars connection on xbox live? I play Modern Warfare 2. Also, im also wired into the ethernet port in my wall. So, if my sister is on facebook and watching youtube videos, and my brother is either play online games or just serfing the web, will i have a good 3-4 bars connection? Even if im the ONLY one in my house using the internet, will i have a good 4 bars connection playing people from the UK? I mean 4 bars not 3 bars, thanks!!! The good thing is, my neighbour was on youtube and xbox live at the same time playing mw2, and he said he had a 3-4 bars connection. Does youtube take up more bandwith than Facebook?
