I'm getting sharp pains on my right side of abdomen. Appendix maybe?

So for about a month now, my abdomen has been lighting cramping and getting pains. I thought it was pregnancy or PMS. I started my period and everything after over a week of cramping which was strange for me. I've been off my period now for almost 2 weeks. I woke up this morning and when I got up, I immediately felt sharp pains on the right side of my abdomen. I could barely go to the bathroom because when I pushed, it hurt too much. This started about 25 minutes ago and I still have the cramps. I can especially feel it when I breath in. The pain just gets worse. I also had a slight nose bleed about 20 minutes ago. Has anyone experienced this before? I'm started to get worried if this continues, I will go to the emergency. Maybe it's my appendix? Thanks
