I Upgraded my old phone to the new HTC HD2. I'm over paying, I don't understand and i need help before its too late. This contract has so many different numbers and they all make no sense together.
They said the sale price was $199.99 plus tax $42.38 (Im paying Bellflower, Ca tax 9.75% of original retail cost of the phone which is $419.77) Plus a $18.00 Upgrade fee and i was charged $1.76 taxes, so that leaves us at $262.13. Then they put me on a 3 month payment plan of $33.32 (3 x 33.32 = $99.96) to pay for who knows what? And I payed $177.16 before i left the store, also, I have never upgraded before so therefore i have $100 Credit to my new upgrade. $262.13 total, minus $100 credit, minus $177.16 that should leave me with a balance of -$15.03.
im so lost in what there doing, im getting ripped off and i don't understand how or what there doing...i have so many other numbers on this contract but these are the only ones that make sense and make me realize im getting over charged. They also printed out my CC number on the contract and what i payed.
I need help, legal advise? Please?
