Is it worth it to get my first premolar removed so braces can make my smile center? And will it look weird without that tooth there? Even though braces will make it so theres no gap. I have had my braces on for almost 2 years, and my ortho says my smile isn't in the center. So in order to make it center, they are going to remove my first premolar on (my) left side. And then use the braces to shift my teeth over so they will fit properly. He told me I have 2 options, to get the tooth extracted, or leave it and keep my teeth a little off center. So, I decided to get it removed and correct it. I am just wondering if anyone has had this done, and if they liked the outcome. Because once they take my tooth out, I can't get it back
