I work 8 hours, five days a week. I already jog for 45 minutes to an hour every morning, and go for a 20 minute walk after work to blow off steam, so the dogs would be accompanying me for those. I also plan on taking them to the dog park on the weekend.
Is it okay to leave them home with themselves (not crated) for 8 1/2 hours? The extra half hour is time to travel to and from work.
I want to come home on my lunch hour, but that will not work every day, I get pretty busy at work.
So, is that too long to leave two dogs to themselves in my home?
