I'm getting a rebate from Toyota because my frame failed what should my next vehicle be?

i definitly want somthing fuel efficent thats safe and reliable. i was thinking of a yaris or corolla. im also contemplating on waiting a year or two to buy somthing nice because i have a feeling they will have better fuel efficent vehicles then.
