Im getting a new cell phone from Verizon Wireless?

Im probobly thinking of getting a Voyager or a Glyde. Only question i have is does web browsing cost money? And does sending text messages cost money? I thought i saw something about 250 texts for 5 dollars. Can someone help me please?
Thanks. If someone texts me but i don't open it, does it still take off from my 250?
 
The web browsing can be unlimited for 15 dollars a month, and txt start at 5 dollars a month, going up to unlimited for 20 a month. Go to Best Buy and they will help with the new contract!
