Matthew 5
28But I say, anyone who even looks at a woman with lust has already committed adultery with her in his heart. 29 So if your eye—even your good eye[l]—causes you to lust, gouge it out and throw it away. It is better for you to lose one part of your body than for your whole body to be thrown into hell. 30 And if your hand—even your stronger hand[m]—causes you to sin, cut it off and throw it away.
I'm not married or anything, but it just sounds scary.
I'm not sure if this is the old testament or the new testament.
The old testament is when Jesus was not on earth yet right? and The New testament is when Jesus was on earth? If this is a new testament, can the people repent every time instead of cutting off a body part??
