I'm embarrassed to show my parents my stories, what do i do?

I've been writing for a long time and i used to let my parents read everything I wrote. Now with me being older, the things I write about aren't about Princess and Princes. They are about romance and other stuff. I want to show my parents but I'm afraid of what they'll think. Help!
