You can think about whether you want to paint a descriptive painting that records the beauty of nature.
Or a reflective theme that touches on social issues like, ageing.
You can also consider other abstract themes like anger, happiness, loneliness, motion, greed etc.
Or... a random theme like... purple! My favourite colour haha.
Or peacocks. Ribbons... chairs...
Basically just go with something you have the most feel for and can derive meaning from!
