i want to give my car more sound. 1) if i add and bolt-on exhaust tip will that change the tone of my car? im looking for more "racey" but nothing thats gonna get me a ticket. 2) could i cut off the tip and weld something else onto it, WITHOUT voiding my factory warranty, wich is about expired and then the extened warrenty will take effect?

whats the best/most legal :p/ cheapest way to go about doing this?
