...joining the Navy, what should I d? I am in the Army, and my enlistment is up in December 2010. After I get out, I think I am going to join the Navy, because my husband is in it, and I still want to serve my country in uniform, I'm a military brat so yeah. I'm currently an E-4 (SPC), and will probably get Sergeant soon, will I get to keep my rank, or is there such thing as and INTER-SERVICE TRANSFER, (that is where you get to keep your rank and all that good stuff but you are just switching services) I know there is for Officers, but not too sure about enlisted. I want to do the Navy, to be with my husband, still make a paycheck, and still want to serve my country in uniform, just not in the Army anymore. Should I talk to a recruiter and see what they say? Would I have to do Basic Training (Boot Camp for the Navy) again? I heard you don't have to, but I am not too sure. Or would I just have to finish my enlistment and join the Navy that way? Any help would be great........HAVE A GREAT NAVY DAY!!!!!!!!!!
