question about the issue.? The initial case involves a landlord agreeing to provide the amenities I was requesting to match what I had received at my last place of residence for the same price I paid there. My monetary deposit would assist her in putting in those amenities (and also would count as my rental deposit if the time came I moved out)
. Basically I was renting land, as I live in an RV. She paid to have 30 amp electrical service put in out of the deposit I made. Then I got an excuse that the hookup to dump the sewage tank could not be done right away and she would pay to have it pumped once a month out of the rent I could be paying.
I was promised high speed WIFI and then later told "if it can't be picked up from her house (meaning I would have to get a router if my computer could not pick up her signal)that I would have to have cable put in at MY cost."!! (*why am I paying the agreed to price if I have to pay for cable service?) She agreed to cut down one old tree and take down an old fence so my RV could get on the property without damage to my RV.
Time went by and none of this was done. She wanted me to wait until the day I moved out of the RV park (which would cost me $250.00 to have the RV towed to the property.)
I told her there was no assurance if she didn't remove the tree and fence that the RV would make the turn onto the property. IF it didn't fit I'd be stuck 1.) for the cost of having the RV moved back to the RV park (IF they had a space available for me)2.) $1300.00 to move back into the park.
The man who was going to move the RV called up and cancelled as he said with the situation as it stood he could not promise there would not be damage to the RV. I agreed with him. The potential landlady called him back and begged him to take the job ...I told her “No, he had already told me there could be damages and that was not acceptable.”
She told me to buy tarps (this would be expensive as the RV is 35 feet long and 14 feet high plus bungee cords etc)
Two days before I was to move I was calling her to see if the promised work was done...."No" I'm waiting until you get here to see if it really needs to be done.”....again I told her doing things that way would put me in a precarious position (ie moving out costs, perhaps ending up not being able to get on the property and $1300 to hopefully get back in the RV park ..money which I did not have). She didn't seem to care and then told me there would be no electrical service for a few days or so..which means in an RV, no heat, A/C and water for toilet and shower (and I have 4 cats to take care of also).
The rose bushes she promised to move, weren't, just cut down near the ground. she told me the RVcould be driven over the stumps and I told her rose bush stumps at that age are big and could damage the tires of the RV and that was not acceptable and that she had promised to dig them up and move them.
She refused to give me exact measurement of the distance from the electrical plug in to where the RV would be parked..as she "was busy". I needed the exact measurements so I'd know how much power cord to purchase (they run $25.00 for 20 feet each and from her guesstament it would run me about $150.00) she told me her electrician said I could make the power cords!!! I told her I was not an electrician and would be taking a chance of burning out my electrical system, that is when she told me I'd have to go without electricity for a few days, at least.
So the electrical setup, internet, dump station for the sewage was not in place for me to move in as promised.
I came online here worried I might be moving on private property where tenant RVs were not allowed. The kind woman who replied (she is a property owner and knows the rules and regulations for such situations) said to me "The RV parking is legal in that area, but I would be more concerned with the fact that the property is in foreclosure and due to go to auction on August 18th.” I called the landlady and told her of that fact (I had gone to the Hall of Records to make sure it was correct info and have that paperwork)
The landlady said "I'm not going to lose the property, I have lawyers working on it." Again I told her there was no assurance that would come to pass and I would be stuck by the side of the road with nowhere to go and no money to move the RV. I told her with all the upset (over a month's worth, never knowing what she was actually doing or not doing) I was not moving...I could not take the on again off again situation and also that she had lied to me (which I consider is fraud). I wanted the check I had given her to be returned to me and she refused so I contacted a co-worker of hers (she worked for a realty company) He discussed the situation with her and told her she had committed fraud so she agreed to pay the money back, but things financially for her were hard at the time....well 6 months have passed and with the exception of sending me an email that after the discussion with her c
Edward..I'm not trying to sue for aggrivation...just telling why I finally gave up and backed out of the situation.I just want the money I gave her back.
Also wanted to know since she was attempting to rent to me without telling me the property was in foreclosure if that was fraud.

Judge Judy/ NO that woman is a pain..loud and well..no thanks I've been on TV more than once...no big deal to me..tho if the party I'm taking out the claim against thinks she will have to go out of town that might motivate her to pay me rather than lose the time. hehee
