I'm confused on something in the Constitution when it comes to passing legislation.?

The Constitution requires only a majority vote to pass legislation before it is sent to the President. I understand why we needed the filibuster and reconciliation. We no longer need them so why don't we go back to the way the Constitution was written? Why are people complaining about one party of the other using procedural loopholes when they are both doing so? Forcing one party to need 60 votes in the Senate is not Constitutional, regardless of the party doing it. Why don't the people who claim that Health Care is not Constitutional fight for the proper voting process?
