its better you buy a whole set of home theater like pioneer RS70 which is 5.1 channel (5 speakersand 1 subwoofer). The amplifier 12,000 watts which is powerful. You can also buy HarmanKarman.Buy the hometheater which is of a professional audio company.
 
...system? which is probably 10 yrs old. its got five dvd changer player and 5 speakers. what is difference between home theatre and home entertainment system.if i make my own home theatre what do need to buy. what is amplifier for? Do i buy only speakers ( Boss or ?) Buy dvd player separate .Please advice
