im building a raised brick garden....?

agaisnt one wall of the garden there is a 6ft fence... can i use the fence as one of the walls (i fear the fence will rot because to the dirt and extra water) or do i put brick right up to the fence (the braces for the fence will make it hard for a good structure of the wall) or do i have to build out from the fence..... ught
 
I have my flowers right up next to my fence. It should be fine! Unless you are really raising the bed up a couple feet or so!!
 
I would avoid filling against the fence. The mositure will hasten it rotting and discoloring. Consider a row of cheaper concrete blocks (which you won't see; you can cap with brick) a few inches out from the fence as the back wall so the fence can 'breathe'
