and/or mATV parts work in these? I have a new mATX board, an ATX power supply, and everything else is built around the board. Standard dvdrom drive, etc. Will this work in the apple tower or are those like special parts or something? I want to be able to, if possible, strip one of these old towers and put in all the new stuff.

Building your own computer is a mistake. The thought of having the fastest processor or the best video card is quite a dream, to be sure. But by the time it's finished, a lot of your hardware will already be out of date and will cause compatibility issues.

A friend of mine did just what you're doing. He's had nothing but problem after problem. Your best option is to buy a pre-configured system from a reputable manufacturer. You'll have a warranty and the affordable monthly payments will allow you to put a mighty impressive PC in your hands.
