syndrome. will this disqualify me? It may seem kinda crazy that an aussie would wanna join the US army, especially one with tourette's syndrome, but for most of my life i've been absoulutely fascinated and intrigued by american culture, history and patriotism. correct me if i'm wrong but there doesn't seem to be any patriotism here in australia, so in all honesty i would like to become a citizen of america when i'm older.
about my tourette's syndrome: its not that bad to be honest... the tics that i have are just raising eye brow, clearing my throat and shrugging my shoulders and if i have a healthy diet, good exercise and no caffeine i don't tic much. i've heard of people with other symptoms also in the US army but will mine disqualify me?
Im a straight A student and none of my teachers have ever noticed that i even had tourette's syndrome untill i told them.
