im applying to columbia's financial aid.what does this mean?

hello
i am applying to columbia college for 2010-2011.
i applied for financial aid, and before
the deadline, I sent my required financial documents (i.e. tax returns).
However, Columbia did not receive it, so I faxed the office about two days ago.
When I checked on my online financial aid account yesterday, the documents that I sent were
listed as "not received." So I emailed the office about the status of the documents, but
I received a reply saying that it takes time to properly organize and receive the documents and that I should be patient.
So today, two days after I faxed the documents to the office, I checked my online account, but I am unable to check the status for any documents. The tab that showed the status was gone.
I am not sure if this means that they received the documents or if the accounts were closed, since the decision date is tomorrow.
What am I supposed to think about my financial aid? Pleas help~ I am very nervous about my application now.
