Im applying for University through clearing and need to apply for student

finance. I am only applying for one? Im applying for University through clearing and need to apply for student finance. I am only applying for one course at the moment and i was wondering if i should put this down on my Student finance form as im not sure if i will get in yet. With it being so late for applying for finance it takes six weeks and if i put it down is there an easy way of changing it if i dont get onto the course as my partner changed his and hes still waiting for a form to be sent out to change his circumstances.
HELP please =)
