It depends on University you are attending. This is something you need to ask your academic counselor about. I do not think it would be needed, but it would not hurt.
I'm a 3rd year University student. Have always had a passion for Japanese/East Asian history. I was wondering if I had to know any Japanese in order to be eligible for the Graduate Program i'll be applying for next year.
