I'm already using iphone 3g now which i purchased in bangalore itself.. So i dint need to unlock it.. But since ive got to unlock iphone 4 i have a few doubts..
1). Will the performance and battery life of the phone reduce when unlocked..?
2). Is upgrading the phone firmware possible after unlocking?
3). Can only the carrier be unlocked keeping all the features of the phone same i.e downloading app from app store and updating firmware over itunes.?
4). What are the advantages and disadvantages of jailbreaking?
5). I heard a lot of people tell "only when u jailbreak your iphone you get to really know what an iphone is capable of." is it true and really worth it?
6). Unloking and jailbreaking.. Are they reversible? so that u dont lose the warranty.
