Im african american and some people at my school judge just because i like

pop, boys who skateboard, etc what? I go to a middle school with a majority of african american students. Most of them like boys of there own race and boys who sag there pants,sell drugs, have gold teeth, etc.But me im different i like boys of any race, listen to pop, rock, and hip-hop, and anything good. Just because im their kind(black) race w/e im suppose to act and do what they do and like.they think im weird and tease me just because i like different things.So they call me a "wanna be white girl" or "white girl". What should i do?
 
Ignore them and keep being yourself. Always be a leader (look at President Obama and the First Lady). I got teased in high school too, but I stuck to my beliefs. Those same people in a few years won't be going far because they're stuck in a box. Keep your head up. Good Luck!
 
be different. it should make you feel special knowing your the only one thats like that at your school
