About a week and a half back, i used the zicam nose gel product, (which is a preapplied gel on the tip of a q-tip that you insert into your nose.) I only recently heard on the news about how zicam can cause amosnia, which is the loss of both the smelling and tasting senses. but the problem is that the news only talked about how the zicam spray (not gel) affected consumers in this matter.
I am not sure if my sense of smell is gone because my nose has been stuffy and i have been unable to breathe through it for the past 2 weeks. So i wanna know if using the zicam gel will have the same drastic permanent effects as using the zicam spray. I'm afraid.
