im a teen who has had sex but have a ton of questions?

2 years ago i found out i have a problem with my overies twisting so i was put on birth control for the pain... after about three months i had sex but even though birth control prevents pregnancy i used a condom my question is why do parents hate that teens have sex even though they are extra carefull... please only teen mothers comment

well i'm not a teen mom, but i think the reason they're worried is because even though you're on birth control and you used protection, doesn't make you completely safe, not even from pregnancy. condoms can slip and break, and birth control doesn't protect you from stds. there is also a lot of emotional stress that comes along with having sex. they don't hate you, they care about you.
